Our Approach

Kasey believes in practical and solutions-focused representation.  Her role is to understand your goals and provide options and recommendations for how to achieve those goals, given any limitations of the circumstance and the legal reality of the situation. While Kasey has successfully represented clients in Provincial and Supreme Court when the matter requires it, her practice aims to keeps clients out of contested applications and trial resolutions as far as possible. It is Kasey’s understanding that when clients choose their own resolutions, even if some give and take is required, they are typically much happier for it. Concluding matters through settlement discussions, mediations, and settlement-oriented court appearances is always the overarching goal.

Kasey holds a business degree from Vancouver Island University and her law degree from the University of Victoria. Kasey opened her firm after having practiced exclusively family law since 2022 with another local firm. Having grown up on Vancouver Island, Kasey enjoys spending time in nature, often backpacking, camping, and skiing with her spouse and dogs.
